Speakers called Randy Perkins the clear choice for Palm Beach county residents

West Palm Beach, FL – This Wednesday, community activists, legislators and labor leaders held a press conference outside incumbent Congressman Patrick Murphy’s district office in Palm Beach Gardens to discuss Republican candidate Brian Mast’s record of dishonesty and steadfast allegiance to Donald Trump amid his recent string of sexist and misogynistic comments.

“There is only one candidate on our ballots that has the qualifications and understanding to serve the working families in the District,” said Pat Emmert, President of the Palm Beach AFL-CIO. “Randy Perkins is the clear choice.”

“Brian Mast claims he is concerned about clean water for the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast, but his actions in taking contributions from big agriculture and lying about returning those contributions proves he would put his polluter donors over the people of his district in Washington D.C.,” added Mike Ramer, an environmental activist and clean water advocate.

The panel of speakers highlighted Randy Perkins’ positive record and ability to fill Patrick Murphy’s post with capable hands and steady leadership. Randy Perkins understands the needs of working people because he has been one all his life. He learned the value of hard work from a young age, and he will put that understanding and hardworking attitude to work for Palm Beach County residents in Congress.
