Felix Diaz shows his priorities, skips hearing to lobby for special interests

Miami, FL – Today as the Constitution Revision Commission met in Orlando to set rules for how amendments to the Florida Constitution will be approved, State Senate Candidate Jose Felix Diaz was noticeably absent. Instead, Diaz was found lobbying in Miami for private clients, abandoning his responsibility to represent Floridians and ensure that the CRC process is operated in accordance with Florida’s sunshine laws.

“Instead of doing his job today to represent millions of Floridians who will be impacted by the Constitution Revision Commission, Jose Felix Diaz was representing the people who matter to him the most: his million dollar special interest clients.” said For Florida’s Future spokesman Blake Williams. “Miami families struggling to make ends meet need someone looking out for their best interests in Tallahassee; Jose Felix Diaz showed us today that he’s clearly not interested in showing up to work for them.
